\"CynthiaQin\"Cynthia Ziwen Qin is well-known in Toronto for her musical and mature performance on the guzheng. She started learning music at age seven and eventually graduated from the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Cynthia has developed her own distinctive performance style over the years and plays with great skill and exquisite expression. Whether performing traditional or contemporary music, she always strives to convey the composer’s intent. Cynthia has performed in many important concerts and events, such as the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and has been featured on China’s CCTV. Since immigrating to Canada, Cynthia has continued to pursue an active and growing music performance and teaching career.<\/p>\n
